A central part of The Institute for Art and Olfaction’s programming mission lies in supporting innovative ideas and executions around scent. Launching in May 2013, our residency and Research Fellows programs will pair creative practitioners with fragrance professionals to implement specific cross-genre creative projects that involve a strong olfactive element.

Our residency proposal cycle is closed. We are assessing further projects on a case by case basis.

ABOUT OUR 2013/2014 RESIDENTS & RESEARCH FELLOWS

Hailing from places as varied as England, India and Wisconsin, the residents and researchers present a diverse set of interests – from protest to food-based art, virtual reality to medical trauma. The participants were selected based on several criteria: The originality of their proposed projects, and the multi-disciplinarian nature of their work.
