The American government is developing devices to decode scent–but its signatures remain intentionally unknown to the public. In this talk\, perfumer Maxwell Williams explores how the government’s nose might impact our personal lives\, while also sharing observations about the scent of currency across borders. Do we love the smell of money primarily as a metaphor for capitalistic “success\,” or is it something deeper? And why do some people seem to smell like cold\, hard cash? \n\n\n  \n\nABOUT OLFACTORY PROVOCATIONS \nThe Olfactory Provocations series from the Institute for Art and Olfaction aims to present new\, original\, and thought-provoking perspectives in a series of short format lectures.
