Note that the IAO is a workspace, and so we won’t always be available to chat.

HOW TO FIND US

We are located in Los Angeles’ historic Chinatown neighborhood, on a pedestrian street that also hosts galleries, souvenir shops, production companies, design studios, and two very cool parrots.
The IAO is wheelchair accessible. Please note however that there is a 1.5 inch cement lip at the front door.
Chung King Road is a pedestrian-only road that runs parallel to Hill Street, between Hill St and Yale St.
You can access Chung King Road from the north and south ends (each adjacent to a parking lot) or from the main entry to the street: This can be accessed from Hill St., smack dab in the middle of the block between the 110 off-ramp and College St, on the North-West side of Hill. Look for the water feature (check out the koi!), walk past it, and hang a left into Chung King Road. We’re at the end of the street, near the currently gated parking area for the medical center.
Chinatown is a family neighborhood with plenty of night-life; pleasant and safe to walk in.

When you sign up for a class or event at the IAO, you will receive an Eventbrite confirmation email which contains important information, such as materials lists or preparation instructions. Please be sure to scroll down in the email, so you see those instructions.
For online classes, you will receive the Zoom log-in information approximately 12 – 24 hours before each session begins. To avoid this going to spam, add hello@artandolfaction.com to your address book. Our online classes are recorded, and the video is available to registered attendees for 7 days after the class takes place. Because the class is recorded and can be viewed later, we do not provide refunds or transfers for online classes.
