Make your own perfume! Shades of Yellow (in person)

Let’s give ourselves an olfactory boost by discussing and smelling all facets of the rainbow’s most optimistic color, with some unexpected scent adventures along the way. IAO founder Saskia Wilson-Brown leads participants through the basics of perfume composition, with a very simple goal in mind: To make ourselves a perfumed interpretation of the color yellow.
The first half of class will focus on learning our aromatic palette, as we smell and discuss a curated selection of materials. The second portion of the class will consist of perfume composition: Each participant will be invited to work with the curated materials to create an original formula, each leaving with a 30ml Eau de Cologne-strength perfume.

For online classes, you will receive the Zoom log-in information approximately 12 – 24 hours before each session begins. Our online classes are recorded, and the video is available to registered attendees for 7 days after the class takes place. Because the class is recorded and can be viewed later, we do not provide refunds or transfers for online classes.
