Guided by Ms. Maki Ueda, award winning olfactory artist and teacher, explore the fascinating science of pheromones and the link between scents and personalities. “The Tale of Genji” is a classic work of Japanese literature written by the noblewoman, poet, and lady-in-waiting Murasaki Shikibu around the peak of the Heian period, in the early 11th century. Workshop participants will sample the scents of the ladies of the poetic novel of the Japanese court, after which you will create your own scent sachet that reflects your personality. This workshop is presented as part of Scent Fair LA, and is being administered by Craft Contemporary.
