In this hands-on workshop led by Julianne Lee\, you’ll learn how perfumers construct fruity accords from scratch\, then build and take home your own banana accord. \nThe class will begin with sampling a curated selection of perfumes from the IAO Collections that feature this delicious note. Next\, we’ll smell a bevy of molecules that evoke B-A-N-A-N-A in its many forms: sweet\, green\, creamy\, ripe and pungent. \nYou’ll then play with those materials and practice balancing a formula. How naturalistic or candy-runt do you want your banana? This workshop is all about experimentation\, but with rigor: No answers or formulas are given\, but the tools to empower you in your perfume journey. \nWe highly recommend that you have at least one IAO class under your belt\, but eager beginners with self-taught knowledge are also welcome.
