ABOUT BOHEMIAN SOCIETY
Mens and women’s high art garments. Accessories, films, cultural phenomena. Skullduggery and art thuggery.
Victor Wilde (b. Brooklyn, 1976) founded fashion and lifestyle label The Bohemian Society in Downtown LA in 2003, where he continues to live, work, and produce his signature brand of postpunk couture. An emerging staple of international progressive fashion, Wilde’s designs and custom pieces can be seen everywhere from Tokyo Fashion Week to MTV to the avantgarde stage. With a background in visual and performance art, Wilde approaches fashion as an artistic undertaking, pursuing a combination of mixed-media design and handwrought craft, incorporating elements of painting, text, and sculptural assemblage into the fine art clothing that bears his crest. Wilde sees fashion as the ultimate forum for a literally and metaphorically collaborative, interactive art form.
