With experience volunteering for institutions as diverse as the Construction Specifications Institute, Bitch Magazine and technical knowledge from coursework in the California College of the Arts’ architecture program, Minetta combines her administrative background and design production know-how to support creatives of all stripes.
After studying cultural anthropology at Reed College and architecture at CCA, Minetta worked as an assistant at David Thorne, Landscape Architect Inc. She still collaborates with the firm in an administrative and research capacity regarding the Case Study Architect David Beverley Thorne. Since moving to Los Angeles in 2014, Minetta has worked with a number of high-end residential architecture, interior design and general contracting firms. Recently, Minetta has worked for actress Mandy May Cheetham to create merchandise designs for TruTV’s sketch series, MUTHA.
Minetta has been involved with the IAO since 2015, as a member of the community, and later as a member of the Smelly Vials Perfume Club. She has overseen submissions management for the Art and Olfaction Awards since 2015. Since 2018, she has acted as the Operations Manager at the IAO.
