Springtime Smells: Perfume-Making for Beginners (in person)

Join us for a guided blending session using aromatic materials associated with floral growth and fresh greens.
For the first portion of this smelling and blending session, we will learn about some smells of springtime. Scent strips will be handed out by your friendly Institute for Art and Olfaction team, and we will spend time smelling and discussing our impressions of these materials.
We will start the second portion of the session by briefly discussing blending scent. Using the palette of perfume materials selected for spring, we will spend the rest of the session blending and creating our own short formulas. Each attendee goes home with a small spray of their aromatic homage to growing and blossoming things.
