In 1960, only 300 gray wolves lived in Minnesota and Wisconsin, but today there are more than 5,400 wolves alive in the lower 48 states.

But wait, there’s more!

The population of giant Galapagos tortoises on the island of Española once numbered about 15, but today over 1,000 individuals live and multiply there. In the 1970’s, there were around 200 Golden Lion Tamarins in the wild in Brazil. Now there are approximately 1,100.

We can do this!
